Design Process
Similarly to The Outsiders, the design for The Last Five Years was a Senior Project for a directing student. Through research and study, I came up with a design look for each song. The director matched colors to each song that helped with my ideas as well. Then I was able to see what the performers had in their own closets and adapted my vision. This was an interesting show to do, as it jumps time and only has two characters.
